Yuki (Japanese: 雪, Rōmaji: Yuki [lit. "snow"]) is Ame's older sister and the daughter of Hana and Wolf Man. Like her father, she has the ability to turn into a wolf.

Personality

As a child, Yuki was very energetic and happy-go-lucky. Venturous, she liked to explore the outside world, run around and chase small prey.

As she became older, however, her energetic nature dwindled to let place to more calm and mature behavior, due to her interests scaring other students away (i.e. collecting animal skeletons) which led her human side to develop more. At school, she has a lot of friends, is studious and is always willing to participate in class, unlike her brother Ame, who was lonely, reserved and often skipped school. Yuki was shown to be somewhat protective of her brother, as she protected him from bullies at school.

At the end of the movie, Yuki chooses to live as a human. She is shown to have entered middle school.

Appearance

Human form

In her human form, Yuki is a normal-looking girl. She has long brown hair reaching to the middle of her back, whose color changed to black when she grew up, and brown eyes. While her brother is strikingly similar-looking to his father Yuki looks more like her mother, especially when she is older.

Wolf form

In her wolf form, Yuki looks like a normal wolf pup. Her fur color is slightly darker than her skin tone. Her hair turns to a lighter color, but remains the same style. However, when she gets older, her hair stays the same hue.

Clothing

As a human baby, Yuki wore a pink dress. As a child, she wore different clothing, but usually consisted of a red shirt or a dress and white underwear. Older, she wears a blue dress over a white shirt, although she is seen wearing a short-sleeved blue dress near the end of the film. In the book, the dress had Blue snowflakes.

As a wolf pup, she has a red scarf around her neck. When she is a baby, however, she keeps her dress on whilst tranormed.
